Fujitsu Laboratories of America, Inc. (FLA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd., was established in 1993, and is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. With research offices in College Park, Maryland and Richardson, Texas, FLA focuses on research and development on component and device technologies, trusted computing, network systems, and connected information innovation research.

FLA conducts research in an open and networked environment, and contributes to the world of research communities through joint research projects with universities and research organizations, and through the free exchange of ideas within the technical community.

FLA represents another important step toward Fujitsu's goal of a global R&D capability. Ultimately Fujitsu Laboratories will be able to stimulate the creativity of researchers on different continents as the multimedia age continues to knit the world together.
